If you have a large number of Leads to import into Channeltivity to distribute to Partners and Distributors and already know which User should receive which Lead, the "Auto-Assign to Partner User Email" field can help. Available in the CSV Lead Import Template (column name: AutoAssignToUserEmail) and Channeltivity's Lead Distribution integrations with HubSpot and Salesforce (field name: Auto-Assign to User Email), the field allows the automatic assignment of the Lead. Here's how it works:
When a Lead is imported via CSV, Salesforce, or HubSpot and the "Auto-Assign to User Email" field contains the email address of...
- an Active Partner or Distributor User with
- permissions to the Lead Distribution module,
then the Lead is assigned to that User. If either of those two conditions are not met, the Lead remains unassigned.
Note: You must set the Auto-Assign to User Email field BEFORE importing the record to Channeltivity.

- Create an email field (or formula) on the Salesforce Lead record.
- In Channeltivity, map that email field to the "Auto-Assign to User Email" field on the Lead in Channeltivity.
- Any imported Leads with the "Auto-Assign to User Email" field set to a correct value will automatically be assigned.
Setting up automatic Lead assignment with our Lead Distribution integration with HubSpot
1. Create a single-line text field on the HubSpot Deal.
2. In Channeltivity, map that field to the "Auto-Assign to User Email" field on the Lead in Channeltivity.
3. Any imported Leads with the "Auto-Assign to User Email" field set to a correct value will automatically be assigned.
